When I am behind the camera lens my thoughts are just as contemplative as that with brush in hand. Time spent with pencil, paper, brush and paints can never be replaced by the photograph, only strengthened. Seeing selectively is the term photographers often use to describe their vision process. I am always looking, learning and thinking of the next painting. These are but a sampling of images that remind me of those special places and compel me to reach for the canvas and brushes.
