The simple joys found out in nature, weaves their way into the spirit and mood of my paintings. Whether those times are spent in glorious, or not so glorious moments that nature provides. Some paintings are like a walk in the woods, or canoeing a peaceful lake. They come with ease. Others, like climbing Giant Mountains, or kayaking remote and swollen rivers aren't as easy to undertake. The challenges always present themselves, but are not insurmountable if you learn to choose your direction wisely.
